Poster Designs

  • I'm More Than a Document.

The inspiration for this poster stems not only from my identity as a Mexican national pursuing dreams in a foreign land but also from my past as a journalist closely covering the migrant situation at the El Paso-Juarez border. Immigration is a deeply personal and significant social issue for me. I wanted to portray this feeling into my design. This poster was submitted to the Rubin Center competition in 2023 and was chosen for the art show by renowned graphic designer Michael Schwab. Out of 500 submissions, only 80 were selected.

  • Iranian Women Have Rights Too

This poster drew inspiration from the 2022 Iranian women's strikes movement, capturing the determination and resilience of these women in their fight. It aimed to highlight their strength amidst global attention on Iran, showing solidarity and support. Selected by the renowned graphic designer Michael Schwab, the poster was featured in the Rubin Center exhibition in 2022.

  • Miner Bass

Designing this was incredibly enjoyable as I employed the techniques of Saul Bass to bring it to life. The task was to embody Saul Bass's style while linking it to the City of El Paso. Drawing inspiration from Bass's poster "The Man with the Golden Arm," I crafted this piece, modifying the hand gesture to depict the "miner" sign, symbolizing my university.
